Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced on Thursday that the next Asterix is set to make his big screen debut in the film, AC Milan and Sweden’s striker. The 39-year-old posted her character’s name ‘Antivirus’ on her Instagram account, using typesets and colors alongside the Gossinni / Uderjo heroes. Ibrahimovic, who was recently recalled to the Swedish national team and is expected to appear in the delayed Euro 2020 this year, features a Roman character named Caius Antivirus in the fifth film of the live action series “Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Empire” Will play
The film, which will be directed by Guillaume Canet, who will also play the role of Asterix the Gaul, will also see Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard as Cleopatra and Gilles Leloche as Obelix.
The film was scheduled to be produced last year but was delayed due to an epidemic.
