Surendra hit back at comment on CM candidate

However, this statement seems to offend the party's central leadership as the party has not raised the issue in other electoral states as well. Later, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralitharan came up with an explanation that the BJP state president was merely stating the wishes of the people.
