Other officials included Raju, assistant commissioner of Kundapur, joint director of agriculture H.K. Kempe Gowda, Deputy Director of Agriculture Chandrashekhar Nayak, Deputy Director of Land Records Ravindra and Hebri Tehsildar Purandara.

Some time ago, forest department officials started imposing fines on people who are found throwing garbage on the ghat section to create awareness for people not to throw garbage.
