The list of highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL changes frequently, and here are some notable moves in the rankings again.
Now that Dac Prescott has joined Patrick Mahomes and Pa Watson giving top dollar – the leading quarterback has set a new standard for professional sports contracts with his 10-year extension – the likes of Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen soon Expected to be mentioned only. With them near the top of the highest-paid lists.

But ldentifying the highest-paid QBs in the NFL is an inefficient science because there are many ways to organize them. For example, Watson earns the most money in terms of average annual salary after Mahomes, but Prescott received more fully guaranteed dollars associated with his contract in signing.

Prescott, who fully guaranteed $ 31.4 while playing on the franchise tag in 2020, is now right between Mahomes and Watson with his new four-year $ 160 million deal.
Two of the QBs on this list – the Nos 1 in the 2016 NFL Draft and the No. 2 overall pick – were traded to the 2021 offseason, Goff in the Rums and the Wentz Eagles. The cousins received an extension last year while Tannehill received his new deal when he re-signed in 2020.

Presscott shot to the top of this list based on the team-friendly structure of their Cowboys contract. Ryan then had a big number and now hits a big cap. Watson also became able to keep up with the market again in a few years for a smaller contract route such as Prescott, knowing that he was not prepared to receive Mahomes-like protection for over a decade.
Wentz and Goff were joined here by other moving QBs in 2021, as Stafford was constructed from Lions. Rodgers and Wilson’s deals in the region continue.

Mahomes’ contract is completely closed for about 10 years. Prescott and Watson also make up a large percentage of guaranteed money in relation to their four-year deals. The Rams and Eagles drowned some good money in their friends, but only the Eagles would be relieved as Rams replaced Goff with the staff.

Once Mahomes got his own unique, unprecedented deal, suits and locks made no sense for Watson or Prescott for many years. While Watson may now be placed in a better position, Presscott may soon reorganize to help the Cowboys with a hat-trick.
With respect to Prescott, Watson, and Wilson, Ryan, Garpolo, Stafford and Gough all look overpaid, while Rodgers seems like a bargainer overall. It is also crazy that Tom Brady, after winning his seventh ring, for his two-year, $ 50 million, all-guaranteed deal with the Buccaneers, no longer cracks any of these lists and is forthcoming. Won’t happen with extensions.
