With just a few days left for the start of IPL 2021, the preparations for the tournament are in full swing, the players who have completed their quarantine sweating while they are still exercising in their team hotel rooms in quarantine. Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday shared a video of Jose Butler working inside his hotel room with the help of his adorable daughter Georgia. In the video, the England wicket-keeper batsman can be seen holding Georgia while sit-up. Butler led England in the last two matches of the three-match ODI series against India following the injury of regular captain Eoin Morgan.

After having a breakout season with RR in 2018, where he scored 548 runs at an impressive average of 54.80, Butler did not look back and establish himself as one of the most sought-after foreign players in the tournament.

In the following year, he played only eight matches and scored 311 runs before leaving the tournament to join his national team before the World Cup 2019.

Last year, Butler had a below-par performance, with only 328 runs from 13 outings, and this was reflected in the team’s overall performance as Rajasthan finished rock-bottom in the points table.

The start of IPL 2021 is to be held on 9 April, in which there will be a mouth-watering clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while Butler and RR will face Punjab Kings in their opening match in Mumbai on 11 April .
