Gold prices fell from 122 to 44,114 per 10 grams; Silver 587 increased to ₹ 65,534 per kg
According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell from ₹ 122 to ₹ 44,114 per 10 grams in the national capital on March 8, in line with weak international market trends.
The precious metal had closed at 44,236 per 10 grams in the previous trading session.
On the other hand, silver rose from ₹ 587 to 65,534 per kg as compared to the previous close. 64,947 per kg.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot prices for 24-carat gold in Delhi plunged Anal 122 with COMEX (New York-based Commodity Exchange) gold prices weakening.” In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,699 an ounce and silver though at $ 25.31 an ounce.
