The National Investigation Agency (NIA) handled the case following orders from the Ministry of Home Affairs

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Monday that the NIA has taken up the case of an explosive-laden vehicle near the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai.

Talking to reporters in Mumbai, Mr. Thackeray said that governments come and go, but the official administrative machinery remains the same and needs to be trusted.

An official spokesperson said on Monday that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) handled the case following orders from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The agency is in the process of re-registering the case, the spokesperson said.

On Sunday, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) filed an FIR against unknown persons under IPC sections 302 (murder), 201 (disappearance of evidence of crime) and 120 (b) against the orders of the state home department. Conspiracy).

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said in the assembly on Monday that the state police was able to resolve the case of auto parts dealer Mansukh Hiran’s death and the recovery of an explosive-laden car near Ambani’s residence.

On Friday, Heeran, the alleged owner of the vehicle, was found dead in a drain in neighboring Thane.

Mr. Thackeray said, “We had handed over the case of the explosive-laden vehicle and the mysterious death of Mansukh Deer to the ATS. When the NIA handled the case, it was found that there was something wrong.”

The CM said that the ATS will continue to investigate the deer death.

He said that the opposition does not trust the state machinery and wants to show that it does not work.

“If this is the case, then why is the state government seeking to reduce taxes on fuel?” The Chief Minister asked.

Mr. Thackeray also said that the state police would punish the culprit for the alleged suicide of Lok Sabha member Mohan Delkarand.

Dadra (58), a seven-term MP from the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, was found dead in a hotel on Marine Drive in South Mumbai on 22 February.

Thackeray said, “Union Territory is governed by the Union. We will take the matter to its logical end. I wonder how the opposition here is calm on the issue of ending the life of a seven-year-old MP,” Mr. Thackeray said.
