Actor-politician Kamal Haasan launched his party Makkal Nidi Maim in 2018. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, his party withheld double-digit voting percentage in Coimbatore and South Chennai constituencies.
He believes that his party has since strengthened with love from the people.
In this rapid fire phase with Hindu, Mr. Haasan is recalling caste-politics in Tamil Nadu, his manifesto and the company of his longtime friend Rajinikanth in politics.
