The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is just three days away. In addition to fans, even eight participating franchises are touted as a 52-day tournament, and can hardly wait for action. While all teams and most players have been posting regular updates about their practice sessions, and even from field action, a cricketer who is active on social media is a Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Suresh is Raina. In her latest post on Instagram, Raina gets a little philosophical and writes about life and its complexities.
The caption of the post reads: “Life is too short Nanba. Always be happy!” Nanba is a Tamil word for ‘friend’, ‘friend’ ‘brother’, etc.
Within an hour of uploading, the post received over 2.58 lakh likes and most people commented with emojis.
Earlier, Raina posted a cute message for his wife Priyanka on their sixth wedding anniversary. He thanked Priyanka for being on her side and praised her for being “an absolute superwoman”.
CSK will play their first IPL match against last year’s runners-up Delhi Capital on 10 April in Mumbai.
