The confusion over the UDF candidate in Dharmadas constituency has finally come to an end, with the Congress on Friday calling Prateek the DCC secretary c. Handed over to Raghunath.
Mr. Raghunath on Thursday, the acting president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. Sudhakaran’s constituency refused to contest, as the KPCC and Congress high command requested him to contest.
However, KPCC President Mullappally Ramachandran was unsure after the reply that he did not know what Mr. Raghunath had filed and the party was yet to announce its candidate. However, Mr. Raghunath confirmed that the nomination papers were submitted after getting approval from the party.
Mr. Raghunath had said that the KPCC had collected details of him to allow the symbol and he was ready to withdraw his candidature if the party demanded it.
