Half of the Final Four slate is scheduled, and there are two teams that have not made it to this stage of the NCAA tournament in decades.

Houston, the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region, will take on the South Region’s No. 1 seed, Baylor on Saturday in a national semifinal. The winners of Tuesday’s Elite Eight game (USC-Gonzaga and UCLA-Michigan) will meet in the second semifinal on Saturday. The winners of the Final Four Games will play in the National Championship game – the first since the 2019โ€“20 season.

Who is in the last four in 2021?

Houston was the first team to punch their final four tickets with a 67-61 win over 12-seeded Oregon State on Monday. The Cougars had a 17-point lead that reduced to a tie before clamping down on the Beavers and winning by six. Baylor was challenged against Arkansas before the Razorks experienced a significant scoring drought and Baylor eventually pulled Baylor away in an 81โ€“72 victory.

When and where is the last four?

The 2021 NCAA tournament concludes with the Final Four and the National Championship on April 3 and 5, respectively. All games will take place at the site’s two courts at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, named “Equality” and “Unity” to include the NCAA and recognize the commitment to social justice.

How many times has Houston been to the Final Four?

Before the start of the expanded bracket era in 1967, 1968 and 1982โ€“84, the Cougars were in the Final Four five times before their 2021 berths. The latter three boys v. Lewis had the famous “Phi Slama Jama” troupe. Neither team won the tournament, finishing as the Cougars as runner-up in 1983 and ’84. The closest event has come in the final four of 2019, when Calvin Sampson took the team to the Sweet 16.

How many times has Baylor gone to the Final Four?

Beiler will make his third Final Four appearance on Saturday, and his first performance since 1950. Prior to this, the team’s only other appearance in the Final Four was in 1948. The Beers have come close, making it to the Sweet 16 in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2017, and the Elite Eight in 2010 and 2012.
