Tecno Pova 2 with 7000mAh battery, 6.9-inch FHD+ display launched in India: Price, availability and more – morningtidings

Tecno Pova 2 is official. Smartphone brand Tecno has launched a new handset called Tecno Pova 2. The device packs budget smartphone specifications including a quad rear camera setup with a main 48MP sensor, a massive battery of 7000mAh, full HD+ display and more.

The company has launched Pova 2 in two storage options. The base variant offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and the second variant offers 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The two variants are priced at Ra 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively.
The handset will go on sale starting August 5, as part of the Amazon Freedom Sale.
Tecno Pova 2 specs and features
Available in Dazzle Black, Energy Blue, and Polar Silver colour options, the Tecno Pova 2 boasts of a 6.9-inch FHD+ of 1080x2460p resolution with 90% screen-to-body ratio, 386ppi pixel density, 480 nits of peak brightness, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with Mali G52 GPU.
Tecno Pova 2 offers a quad rear camera setup where the primary camera is a 48MP (f/1.79 aperture) sensor. This is paired with a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an unspecified fourth sensor.
On the front, Pova 2 houses an 8MP camera (f/2.0 aperture) with a quad-LED flash.
Backed by a 7000mAh battery, the Tecno Pova 2 comes with 18W Flash Charge fast charging support. The battery is said to deliver a standby time of 46 days, 233 hours of music playback, or 49 hours of calling time.
Running on Android 11-based HiOS custom operating system, the Tecno Pova 2 measures 173.32×78.78×9.62mm and offers G-sensor, Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Electronic compass, and Gyroscope as sensors on board.
