As per reports, the the luxury car Jaguar XJ model was on a speed breaker outside the Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla. The video was shared on Instagram by user Sid Sharma who shared the video with the caption, “Why dont we have proper roads in Financial Capital???” The video shows locals pushing the Jaguar car after it gets stuck on the speed breaker. As the video moves further, Sid says, “Perks of living in Mumbai – People just help you in any situation.     BMW XM: Specs

    The BMW XM is the first M model that has been endowed with a plug-in hybrid powertrain (PHEV). It packs in a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with an electric motor that together generates a max power of 653hp along with a peak torque of 800Nm. This engine due is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all the wheels of the SUV through the M xDrive AWD system.

    The XM can sprint from 0-100kph in just 4.3 seconds and offers an all-electric range of up to 80km. The XM also comes braced with an adaptive M suspension, a new 48V system and electronically controlled dampers.

    The BMW XM luxury performance SUV flaunts a sweeping design, with bold and sporty highly stylized exterior design elements. It comes with a huge illuminated kidney front grille with snazzy gold accents, split style headlights, DRLs, 21-inch standard wheels along with 22- and 23-inch wheel choices and vertically stacked quad-tip exhaust outlets among many other head-turning styling elements.

    New Delhi, December 2 : India’s top luxury brand Mercedes-Benz has launched its EQB all-electric SUV in India priced at Rs 74.50 lakh (ex-showroom, across India). The Mercedes-Benz EQB luxury electric SUV has been already available for bookings alongside the GLB, from early November for an advance token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh.

    The Mercedes EQB is positioned below the EQC SUV and is the third EV model in the brand’s line-up in India. The EQB and the Mercedes-Benz GLB, which launched alongside, have both arrived in India as fully built imported models.     Mercedes-Benz EQB – Design, Features & Specs :

     

    Design :

    The Mercedes-Benz EQB E-SUV flaunts patent EQ styling with stylized LED headlights connected by a horizontal LED bar and split style LED taillights. The SUV gets a set boldly styled of 18-inch alloy wheels. EQB is built on the same architecture as the GLB and hence, shares the same silhouette. However, the EQB gets its distinctive visual appeal with its blanked-off front grille, lighting design tweaks, redesigned front and rear bumpers and a full-width LED light strip at both ends. The EQB comes in 5 shades of Cosmos Black, Digital White, Iridium Silver, Mountain Grey and Rose Gold.

    Interior & Features :

    On the inside, EQB overall interior design and layout are similar to its fossil fuel sipping siblings – GLB and GLA, excepting the flashy gold trims on its unique air vents.     Powertrain, Battery & Range :

    Unlike the international markets, the Mercedes-Benz EQB is available in India in a single variant – EQB 300 that offers 228hp and 390Nm along with an all-wheel drive system. It comes powered by dual electric motors that enables the EQB to sprint from 0-100kph in a claimed 8 seconds and a claimed top speed of 160kph.

    The electric motors draw their juice from a 66.5kWh battery pack, which offers a range of up to 423km. The fast-charging support using a 100kW DC fast charger is claimed to offer 10-80 per cent charge in just 32 minutes, while fully charging the EV via an 11kW charger will take 6 hours and 25 minutes.

    The story of FTX’s downfall is believed to stem from a group of 10 people including CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, who functioned out of a luxury Penthouse in the Bahamas. All 10 people who ran FTX knew Sam from either prior work at Jane Street or were college mates from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). 30-year-old Bankman-Fried is roommates with the inner circle who ran his now-struggling crypto exchange FTX and trading giant Alameda Research. They were all rumoured to be paired up romantically in the past, including Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison, whose firm played a central role in the company’s collapse  — and who, at times, has dated Bankman-Fried, according to people familiar with the matter. This revelation has led to a flood of conversations about the sex orgies that went behind the operation of FTX, from the Bahamas Penthouse.

    The FTX Takeover

    Employees of FTX had little to no knowledge about what transpired in the penthouse or with their CEO. However, reports suggest that there is a $663 million outflow of money at FTX, which is a combination of the company’s own movement of coins and alleged theft. Many employees only learnt about the news of the company’s downfall when the CEO of Binance  — the biggest cryptocurrency marketplace  — announced its takeover of FTX. This was followed by Bankman-Fried’s confirmation to the employees one week after the news broke, highlighting the lack of communication and increased confusion that everyone involved in FTX faced. According to media reports, many employees had also put their life savings into FTX. According to news reports, the deal with Binance fell apart hours after it was announced as well.

    The Missing Money

    Various analysts have extrapolated that FTX has stolen anywhere from $338 million to $477 million. Out of this, $192 million is in one Ethereum address, which is sending small amounts of the Ethereum-based token, with little to zero value, to Ethereum inventor Vitalik Buterin and Ukrainian cryptocurrency fundraiser accounts, mostly to throw law enforcement off its back. While experts believe that the traceability of cryptocurrency will make it easier to track the money and know where it went, the uncertainties surrounding FTX are only growing.

    This, combined with the fall of various cryptocurrency rates across the world, has made people introspect if the new age investment was short-lived or where the future of cryptocurrency is headed.

    Doha, Nov 2: Amid the luxury awaiting those visiting Qatar for the FIFA World Cup 2022 are cruise liners to house fans in the waters off Doha. One such cruise ship set sail for Doha, 20 days ahead of the kick-off to take place on November 20. MSC Cruises announced that MSC World Europa had set sail for Qatar in preparation for its naming ceremony, which will take place in Doha on November 13, in preparation for the reception of fans to arrive in the Gulf state, Qatar News Agency reported. Tournament organisers have arranged three cruise liners that will accommodate fans to ease the pressure on hotels and other forms of accommodation the country has built for the 1.2 million people expected to visit the country for the tournament.     The cruise liner is a modern floating hotel, consisting of 22 floors. It has 2,626 cabins and more than 40,000 square metres of public space. The ship has a 104-metre outdoor walkway, and is equipped to offer entertainment options for all ages, including three new concerts, five new theatre performances, four unique experiences in the “Panorama Lounge”, and live performances travelling to various areas on board the ship. The floating hotel has the largest children’s area of all ships of the MSC fleet, with an internal spread of more than 766 square metres, and seven rooms, each suitable for different age groups, from new-borns to 17-year-olds.

    The ship offers seven swimming pools, 13 whirlpools, and a luxurious yacht club, which includes public spaces, outdoor areas and new suites. It will spend its first year in the waters of the Gulf, before leaving the region for the Mediterranean in the summer of 2023. MSC World Europa is the first ship in the MSC fleet cruise liners to be powered by liquefied natural gas, one of the cleanest fuels in the world, QNA said. The cruise liner also includes a system to reduce the impact of underwater noise to a minimum, and reduce the potential impact on marine mammals in the surrounding waters.
