    Google App Reportedly Crashes on Android Phones, Several Users Complain on Twitter

    Google’s search app reportedly crashed for several Android users. Several users reported that they faced an issue when they launch the app on their smartphone. Additionally, some users also reported a similar issue with Google Assistant and Google Lens apps. As per Downdetector, 186 people reportedly had an issue with the search engine on June 22 at 1:20 am EST. Google News Initiative 2021: Search Engine Giant to Help Journalists Create Their Own Startups.

    Frustrated with the issue, users complained on Twitter regarding the app crash.

    One user Tweeted, “Google app update seems to have a small bug that makes your phone keep displaying the “Google keeps stopping” box, it’s not bricked the phone but it is almost unusable, fix eta.”

    Another user said, ” Google Search app keeps closing for multiple users all around the world. Seems to be #googledown yet again.”

    Several users also complained that they received a pop-up message ‘Google Keeps stopping’ on their screen while they tried to access the app. Google on Twitter suggested a fix to a user who was facing this issue by trying a soft reboot by holding down the power button for 30 seconds.

    A commenter on Downdetector said, “Uninstalling updates works as a temporary fix, but yeah it is a very annoying update that they should have tested more.”

    As per a report, this issue has been fixed now and no problems have been reported in the past hour.

    Kazakhstan Security Agency-run aircraft crashes, four dead

    Officials said an aircraft operated by the State Security Agency of Kazakhstan crashed into the Central Asian country on March 13, killing four crew members and injuring two others.

    The former Soviet country’s emergency ministry said two survivors were hospitalized.

    The ministry said that a Soviet-made N-26 two-engine turboprop crashed while trying to land at the airport in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. The aircraft had flown Noor-Sultan from the capital, carrying only six crew members.

    Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee said that it owns the aircraft. It said an investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated.

    The AN-26 was designed in the 1960s and was built in large numbers for both civilian and military use. Hundreds remain in service in former Soviet countries and other countries around the world.

    An-26 plane crashes while landing at Almaty Airport in Kazakhstan

    An An-26 plane, which was flying from Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan, crashed while landing in Almaty on Saturday, Almaty Airport said on its Facebook page.

    Russia’s Interfax news agency quoted a source as saying that six people were aboard the plane, which was part of the National Security Committee, the border guard service of Kazakhstan.

    It was not clear if there were any casualties, but photographs from the site showed that the plane overturned and caught fire.
