Realme’s Dizo launches its first smartwatch, Dizo Watch: Price, design and key features – morningtidings

Dizo Watch is here. Priced under Rs 5,000, it is the first smartwatch from Dizo — the brand under Realme TechLife ecosystem. Claimed to be a watch for everyday, Dizo Watch will help users keep a check on their fitness and daily activities on a real-time basis. The key highlights of Dizo Watch include high-resolution touchscreen, 90 Sport Modes, 12 days of battery life, health and fitness monitoring, Live Watch Faces and is IP68 Water Resistant. According to Dizo, the Dizo smartwatch, aims to offer an extension to the users’ lifestyle and their sports needs, complement their individuality and empower them to do more.
Dizo Watch price, availability and offers
Dizo Watch is priced at Rs 3,499. As part of inaugural special offer, the Dizo Watch will be available at Rs 2,999 starting 12 noon on August 6, 2021. The watch will be available on Flipkart and at select retail stores. The company has not revealed how long this special offer will be available.
Dizo Watch design
The Dizo Watch features a 3.5cm (1.4 inch) touchscreen display of 320×320 pixel and a peak brightness of 600 nits at 30FPS. This according to the company means that the smartwatch screen is visible easily even when outdoors on a sunny day. The Dizo Watch features Live Watch Faces that display dynamic dial backgrounds and can be customised as per the needs of the users. It also supports over 60 watch dials.
Dizo Watch’s key fitness other features
Dizo Watch comes with dynamic heart rate sensor that keeps a check on the status of your heartbeat and provides health guidance. The SpO2 feature allows users to track blood oxygen levels. Users can also monitor water intake, sleep and steps using the smartwatch. The Dizo Watch comes preloaded with 90 Sport Modes that includes running, walking and cycling both indoors and outdoors, spinning, hiking, basketball, yoga, rowing, elliptical, cricket, strength training and free workout for the users to choose from for their daily health routine. It also supports recording daily and weekly exercise durations and calorie consumption in any specific exercising mode. It is a great choice for multi-sports enthusiasts, who can track any of their sport activities that they choose to pursue.
Additionally, it controls smartphones to play music and take photos, unlock the smartphone kept in the near distance and can also help search for the smartphone. Other features include stopwatch, weather forecast, call notification, low battery reminder, brightness and do-not disturb mode are also present in the smartwatch.
Battery life of Dizo Watch
Dizo Watch comes with 315mAh battery powered by a low-power consumption chip and Bluetooth 5.0 technology. The company claims that the Dizo Watch holds enough charge for 12 days on a single charge for standard usage.
Users can control their Realme smart devices using the Realme Link app
The Dizo Watch has a Smart AIoT Control feature that allows users to control various Realme’s IoT-enabled devices such as Bluetooth speakers, light bulbs, sockets, etc via its Link app.
Dizo Watch water-proofness
The smartwatch boasts an IP68 water resistant rating which allows it to remain water resistant up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters.
