In an extremely rare finding, a fisherman cast a hook on a mesmerising yellow viper in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur. The creature was a Checkered Keel Back snake with leucism with a standard eye colour. The fisherman could not identify the species of the slithering animal and called snake helpline members to rescue the reptile. The serpent was released into its natural habitat.
