Kamal Haasan said that it is not right to say that I only criticize the AIADMK

Kamkal Haasan, the founder of Makkal Nidi Mayim, said on Thursday that it was not correct to say that he only criticized the AIADMK and had a soft stance towards the DMK.

Addressing a public meeting in Madipakkam, he took a jib at the DMK for allocating only six assembly seats to the VCK.

“Those who are saying that they stand for social justice are only doing lip service,” he said, indirectly referring to comments made by DMK Organizing Secretary RS Bharti about members of the Scheduled Castes. While doing so only DMK holds high positions in the judiciary.

“You talk a lot about social justice. From my brother Thol Thirumavalavan (VCK founder), the conversation started with double digits and ended with six. My brother has to come to me. We will see it in the next election.

He made Chief Minister Edappadi. Palaniswamy was also targeted and accused of pushing the state into huge debt.

Mr. Haasan also apologized for welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetization move. “It has killed small businesses, while big businesses have found other ways,” he said.

Mr. Haasan disagreed with those who said that his party did not have enough experience. He said, yes, we are not involved in corruption, taking bribes, using caste equations or getting involved in riots. We do not have the experience of falling under the table.
