David Warner’s wife Candice Warner on Thursday shared the upcoming pictures of the Sunrisers Hyderabad captain with her daughters before leaving for India for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). “Goodbye Daddy We Love You. @SunRisers Get Ready, @ davidwarner31 Coming Up! # IPL2021 #OrangeArmy,” Candice tweeted along with the photos. Responding to the tweet, the franchise wrote: “See you soon, Captain. We’ll take good care of him, @ CandiceWarner31.” Earlier in the day, Warner shared a picture with his wife and said “our last brew together for a few months”.

Warner wrote, “Blessed to spend some quality time at home, our last brew for a few months, but the time has come to pack bags and heads in India. An Instagram post.
Warner is the third and highest run-scorer among foreign players in the tournament. So far, he has scored 5,254 runs in 142 matches at an average of 42.71. Southeastern has scored four tons and 48 fifties in the IPL.
On Wednesday, England batsman Jason Roy joined SRH in place of Mitchell Marsh. The Australia all-rounder has made himself unavailable for the entire season due to personal reasons.
Last year, Warner-led SRH managed to qualify for the playoffs, but the team suffered a loss against Delhi capitals in Qualifier 2.

Even after Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mitchell Marsh were injured, SRH managed to punch above their weight to reach the playoff stage.
SRH will make its IPL 14 campaign debut against Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on 11 April.
