Happy International Cat Day 2021! The day is celebrated every year on August 8 and is dedicated to the felines around the world. It was first celebrated in 2002 aiming at cat conservation by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. The International Fund for Welfare started observing August 8 every year as International Cat Day. Its main purpose is to provide protection and help cats around the world. This day is also called World Cat Day in many countries. Cats are one of the most popular types of pets and social media is filled with amazing cat memes and jokes.
