In the first, the cordial Foundation Day celebrations of a business school will set up an office at the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) yard at Amargol in Hubli to initiate a deal in wholesale trade with the Farmers Producer Organization (FPO).
The FPO, formed by a group of 25 farmers from Gamangatti village, is being mentioned by Chetan Business School, which is celebrating its foundation day on Friday.
Addressing the press conference here on Tuesday, Vishwanath Korvi, director of Chetan Business School, said that Ashok Dalvai, CEO of National Rainfed Area Authority and Chairman of Doubling Farmers Income, will inaugurate the foundation stone ceremony before inaugurating the farmer’s firm at APMC yard.

“Hithro, they were trading only in what they had cultivated and now after getting a license to work as a wholesaler in the APMC yard, they would trade in other vegetables. They will not take commission from the farmers, but at the same time will ensure cheap prices for the customers. ‘
Mr. Korvi said that Mr. Dalvai will deliver the keynote address at a cordial function of the Business School at his premises in Srinagar at Unakal in Hubli at 11 am.
He said that to mark the 10th anniversary, the Business School has instituted the Chetan Shree Award and has chosen businessman Vijay Sankeshwar for the award.
