An official said that there will be 18 women-polling stations in the upcoming state assembly elections in Sivasagar district of Assam.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Sivasagar, through an order issued on 7 March, selected six all-women polling stations for the three assembly segments of Amguri, Thavara and Sivasagar – all in the first phase election on March 27. Was going – said the officer.

As per the order, all the women polling stations for Amguri constituency are Aunati Hemchandra Dev HS School (E), Aunati Hemchandra Dev HS School (W), Aunati Hemchandra Dev HS School (W), Amguri Girls High School (N). ), Pangera MV School (N) and Pangera MV School (S).
For Thaura constituency, all women polling stations are Demau Town MV School (N), 102 number Dihajan Kusiyari LP School (N), Nitapukhuri High School (N), Nitapukuri School (M), Nemuguri LP School and 98 no. Bam Gohain Village LP School.
All the women polling stations selected for Sivasagar constituency are 3 number Girls LP School (E), 2 Number Town Primary School, 2 Number Town Primary School-A, ONGC LP School (N), ONGC LP School (S). And ONGC LP School (M).
The elections to the 126-member Assam Legislative Assembly will be held in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6.
