India skipper Virat Kohli gave the trophy to debutant Ishaan Kishan to lift England to a 3–0 series win after scoring a high in the fifth T20 International. India beat England by 36 runs after posting a mammoth score of 224/2 after being sent to bat. Bhuvneshwar Kumar held India to a score of 188/8 with England. As the team prepares to lift the trophy, the Indian captain handed the trophy to Ishaan Kishan, who made his second match of the series.
Kishan was one of two debutants to shine in the series, with the 22-year-old maiden’s half-century as India began to chase in the second T20I. Chasing 165, the youngsters scored 56 runs in 32 balls, opening the innings for India.
Apart from Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav also made his debut in the series. Suryakumar did not get to bat in his debut match, but in his first international innings, a stunning one scored 57 runs and followed it up with a score of 32 in the series-deciding.

While the new boys showed their subtlety, it was captain Virat Kohli, India’s greatest performance with the bat in the series, as he hit three unbeaten half-centuries as the highest scorer in five matches.
Starting the series with a duck, Kohli scored 73 in the second game and 77 in the third. Failing to make his mark in the fourth match, he decoded his bat, scoring 80 off 52 balls.
