Hospital sources said that serious medical tests in Mamta Banerjee’s left ankle and leg revealed bone injuries and injuries to her right shoulder, forearm and neck.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is undergoing treatment at a state hospital in Kolkata following an alleged attack in Nandigram, is now “stable”, and doctors plan to conduct a series of medical tests, including a CT scan. To assess the degree of his injury, sources at the facility said on March 11.

An initial medical examination conducted late on March 10, Ms. Banerjee, revealed serious bone injuries to her left ankle and leg, and injuries to her right shoulder, forearm and neck.

“A temporary plaster was done on her left ankle and she will undergo several blood tests this morning. His ECG report was fine.

“Banerjee is stable now. She will be under surveillance for the next 48 hours. A CT scan may be conducted during the day. We will examine him again and decide on our next course of treatment. His fever subsided, ”a doctor at SSKM Hospital told PTI.

The state government formed a nine-member team to treat Ms. Banerjee and doctors x-rayed the Chief Minister as soon as she was taken from Nandigram to the hospital on the evening of March 10.

Ms Banerjee suffered injuries to her left leg and waist after she was allegedly pushed by unknown miscreants while campaigning for the assembly elections in Nandigram.

He is undergoing treatment at the 12.5 Special Cabin in the Woodburn block of SSKM Hospital.

The TMC supremo filed his nomination to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Nandigram seat on 10 March.
