Authorities said Saturday that a shooting on Interstate 85 in suburban Atlanta claimed the life of a rising Texas rap artist.
Rapper Corey Detges, who performed under the stage name Chucky Trill, died Friday morning in an area hospital after the shooting, police in suburban Gwinnett County said.
As reported by WSB TV, Police Corporal Colin Flynn, a department spokesman, said someone pulled up near the carriage of the daties and opened fire around 3 a.m. Friday. Ditties, 33, was from Sugar Land, Texas.
