“It was found that the video was of a local hotel named Chand in Khyala. The men have been identified as Sabi Anwar and Ibrahim, both hailing from Kishanganj in Bihar. The latter was spitting on the dough. “We have registered a case under the relevant sections at Khyala police station and both the accused have been arrested,” he said. “We have also registered a case against the owner of the hotel for running the restaurant without permission,” a senior official said.
The officer said that the accused were later granted bail. The restaurant owner has been charged under the DP Act.
According to reports, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a man was arrested last month after being caught in a camera spitting flour while making ‘rotis’ at a wedding ceremony.
