Zoho Corporation on Wednesday unveiled plans for the next 25 years, including a focus on international localism, supporting self-sustaining economies, and investing in long-term R&D.
As part of its efforts at transnational localism, the US-based technology firm will open more satellite offices in rural and non-urban areas across India with 20 to 30 seats, Sridhar Vembu, CEO and co-founder, said in a statement.
The Chennai-headquartered company, which has completed 25 years in the business, will undertake infrastructure projects in the villages where it has opened offices, and is investing in long-term R&D projects that aim to build capabilities and know that how. In addition, Zoho will expand and develop its school in Tenkasi in Tamil Nadu and educate local children in their local language and contribute to the service of local communities through various initiatives.
Similar projects will be started in other rural and non-urban areas. Zoho will continue to build and expand its product portfolio across its brands in India to serve the global market.
“Zoho is built on values and convictions. We do not measure our success in numbers, but the impact it has had on our employees, their families, customers, industry, ecosystems, and local communities. “
“Our objective is to create opportunities for those who do not have them, create compelling products for our customers, and serve geographic locations that have not been served before. We want to continue to be the catalyst for change, inspiring others and emerging as a top technology leader, while serving all those we influence more broadly and deeply.
Incorporated during 1996, Zoho has three brands in various markets, beginning with the IoT platform, enterprise IT management and cloud platforms and applications.
The privately held company employs over 9,000 employees. Over 60 million users worldwide rely on Zoho every day to run their business.
