Xiaomi’s most-expensive smartphone may soon get a new companion – morningtidings

Xiaomi’s most expensive smartphone — Mi 11 Ultra — went on its first sale this week and now that some poeple have managed to get their hands on it available for purchasing, it appears that the Chinese consumer technology giant is soon going to launch a wireless charger for it.
According to a tweet by the company’s official account, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch ‘something powerful.’ The tweet includes a 15-second clip that says ‘the most powerful yet blazing fast.’ It also shows a dial that shows that the energy goes up to around 65W.

On the basis of all this information, it is being tipped that the company could soon launch a 67W fast charger in the country.

Back in May, it was first reported that Xiaomi is planning to launch a fast charger with 67W fast charger. It was also claimed that the company would be selling it for the users of Mi 11 Ultra smartphone. Users of this phone will have to buy it separately.

Globally, the company ships a 67W fast charger with its Mi 11 Ultra smartphone, however, in India the company packs a 55W adapter due to certification constraints.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 67W wired and wireless charging, along with 10W reverse wireless charging.
For display, the handset has a 6.81-inch display WQHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also houses a 1.1-inch secondary display placed on the rear panel.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, the Mi 11 Ultra has a triple camera setup of 50MP primary camera + 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera + 48MP telephoto lens.
In India, it is priced at Rs 69,999.
