World Emoji day: Apple to bring new customisations to its Memoji – morningtidings

July 17 is celebrated as World Emoji day. Smartphone users send emojis quite a lot and Apple has its own take on it called the Memoji. With iOS 15 set to launch sometime in September, Apple has introduced new customisations to the Memoji. However, if you are in the public beta program of iOS 15, then you can access these customisations right now. Here are the customisations that will be a part of iOS 15:
Clothing:
Users can customise their Memoji with more than 40 outfits that reflect their style, mood, or the season with up to three different colours, and they can show it off using Memoji stickers with expressive body language that includes the upper body.

Multicoloured headwear:

Memoji can represent a favourite sports team or university with multicoloured headwear.

New glasses:

There are three new options for glasses, including heart, star, and retro-shaped options, and users can select the colour for the frame and lenses.

Accessibility options:

New accessibility options let users represent themselves with cochlear implants, oxygen tubes, or a soft helmet.

Two different eye colours:

Users can select a different colour for their left eye and right eye.
Apart from this, iOS 15 offers nine new Memoji stickers that include a shaka, a hand wave, a light bulb moment, and more.
As we mentioned earlier, these Memoji customisations will be available with iOS 15, which is expected to roll out in September. Till then you can download the beta version after registering for Appleā€™s beta program. iOS 15 brings a host of other features to iPhones as well, including a new Safari experience, FaceTime features among others.
