Women’s Day: Songs released on Acid Attack Survivors from the Etijivan Foundation and Mug to Mike

The mug singing group from Mug to Mike and the NGO Etijivan Foundation have created a music video on women who have survived an acid attack. Music video called ‘We are power‘Was released on 8 March (International Women’s Day).

The Etijeevan Foundation is founded by Acid Attack Survivor Pragya Prasoon, who has helped other survivors get back to normal life. She is the recipient of the Nari Shakti Award. The Etijivan Foundation works to empower and rehabilitate acid attack survivors. The five-minute music video will feature many women associated with NGOs, says Sunil Koshi, founder of From Mug to Mike.

About Hum Shakti Hai, Sunil says, “Apart from the attack, these survivors of acid attack also have to face discrimination for their way of seeing. This music video is an attempt to empower them. “

“After the release of the song [on From Mug to Mike’s Youtube channel], We are also planning to have a panel discussion on this subject, the specialty of these survivors. Some of them are interested in singing. We will also feature them.
