Not a great start to the MLB season for Washington.
The Nationals are tackling some coronovirus issues to start the 2021 season, which is made for Opening Day for fans of the Nets and Mets alike, with the NL East rivals to postpone the season-opener that Will give a kick. Three-game weekend swing.

Now, there are some players who are dealing with positive COVID-19 tests on Washington, postponing the opening series this weekend.
While both teams still have to be back on the field in short order, neither team can perform long layoffs, even with seven-inning doubleheader rules this year, with a full, 162-game slate.

Why was National vs Vs postponed?
On Wednesday 31 March, one of his players was set to host the Mets for the start of Opening Day at 7:09 pm ET in Washington, just a day before the Nationals were informed that they returned a positive test.
On Thursday, four additional players and a staff member were placed in quarantine for contacts close to the original positive test, which was held on Monday, the last day of spring training.
An additional three members of the nationals tested positive, and a total of five players are in quarantine, making them ineligible for a possible restart of Monday vs. the Braves.
National GM GM Rezzo said on Thursday that it was unable to release the names of the positive players, nor did they believe the players caught Corvavirus violating the COVID-19 protocol.

In addition, the Nats have no positive test of alternate on-site players, meaning that Washington may be leaning on replacement players in times of need.
The Mets, with no COVID-19 issues, are scheduled to begin in Philadelphia on Monday April 5 to begin their season.
