Which channel is March Madness on today? Times, TV schedule for Saturday’s NCAA Sweet 16 games

The first weekend of March Madness was filled with crazy upsets and Cinderella stories. Now, those underdogs will be expected to have a chance to survive and advance to the Sweet 16.

The Sweet 16 will end on Saturday and will resume the NCAA tournament following a traditional layoff after Round 2. Four double-digit seeds have eluded it in the tournament this year, with Oral Roberts showing the lowest feat: 16 as the Sweet 15 seed.

Matchpoints in this round of the tournament would not be quite what a bracketologist would expect, but there is still a lot of intrigue. Gonzaga, the No. 1 overall seed, is still alive and gets to take on another ranked mid-major team in Crayton. Potential Cinderellas Oregon State and Loyola Chicago (who are probably better off sowing, but still a young age) were shut out in the first meeting of the Sweet 16.

And everyone will have the chance to revisit the Oral Roberts vs. Arkansas game, as the Golden Eagles make in history what the figures of a great offensive war are.

If your bracket is busted – and let’s be honest, most are at this point – feel free to root for the chaos that characterized the Underdogs and March Madness. Or if your favorite team is the best left, that works too.

Here is all you need to know about the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament, including TV channels and the full schedule over time.

March Madness Program: Which Games Are Today?

8. Loyola Chicago vs. 12. Oregon State

  • Time: 2:40 pm
  • Channel: CBS or Paramount +
  • Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Loyola Chicago’s top-ranked scoring defense (55.8 points allowed per game) shut down the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Regional, Illinois. Can they continue to clamp down on their opponents or will Ethan Thompson and Beaver, the upstart Pac-12 champions who have won eight of their last nine matches, continue on their hot streak?

1. Boiler vs. 5. Villanova

  • Time: 5:15 PM
  • Channel: CBS or Paramount +
  • Location: Hinkle Fieldhouse

Villanova made it to the Sweet 16 despite falling under his best player, Colin Gillespie. Baylor would be the toughest Test to date, as the Wildcats would have to slow down a Bears offense to 83.8 points per game this year, which is good for fourth-best in the NCAA. If Villanova cannot slow down Beiler, they will have to score a lot of points, which would not be easy to do without the presence of Gaspassi.

3. Arkansas v. 15. Oral Roberts

  • Time: 7:25 pm
  • Channel: TBS or March Madness Live
  • Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Can Oral Roberts continue to be the Golden Eagles in this miracle race? They are only the second 15 seed to make the Sweet 15, joining the club with Florida Gulf Coast University, which did so in 2013. No 15 seeds have ever been made for the Elite Eight, but Oral Roberts will try to get there. Both the Golden Eagles and the Razorbacks rank top-40 in game speed, so expect a fast-paced, high-scoring game.

2. Houston vs. 11. Syracuse

  • Time: 9:55 pm
  • Channel: TBS or March Madness Live
  • Location: Hinkle Fieldhouse

The father / son duo of Jim and Buddy Boehm leads the Orange so far and their third Sweet 16 appearance in the last decade as a double-digit seed. The Cougars would prove to be a tight opponent for Syracuse, but DeJon Jarreau bounced back during the tournament and with an average of 27.5 points per game, the game may be closer to the most realized.
