What time is UFC 259 today? Israel Adesanya vs Jan Blachowicz PPV Schedule and Main Card Start Time

The UFC bounced back with one of the most stacked cards in recent memory, with four champions competing in three title fights at UFC 259 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Pay per view will be paid to UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesania when he becomes the two-division champion when he faces current light heavyweight champion Jan Blavachikos.

Adenasi (20-0) has been running badly since making his debut at the UFC in 2018. They won 9–0 with four wins. Also, he excluded Anderson Silva, Joel Romero, Robert Whitaker, and Calvin Gastelum. He successfully defended his middleweight title prominently in UFC 253 with an already unbeaten second round round against Paulo Costa.

Blachowicz claimed the vacant 205-pound title with a one-sided knockout of Dominic Reyes at the UFC 253 co-main event. The Polish fighter began with Ilir Latifi’s knockout in 2014, but lost four of his next five fights. Four-fight win streak with impressive wins over Nikita Krylov and Jared Cannonir. But a knockout defeat to Thiago Santos set him back again. Since that defeat, he has won four straight with wins over Luke Rockhold, Ronaldo “Jacquere” Souza, Corey Anderson and aforementioned Reyes.

Can Blachovicz prove that he is more than a transitional champion or will Adesan take his place on the 205-pound throne as one of the world’s best pound-for-pound fighters?

The co-main event saw the biggest female fighter of her time defending her title, as Amanda Nunes was challenged by Megan Anderson for her UFC Featherweight Championship. Nunes has been an unstoppable force over the past six years with an 11-fight winning streak that has seen their trice Chris Cyborg, Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm and Meesha Tate during their quest to become wing and bantamweight champions. Only current female flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko has provided any resistance. Anderson hoped to pull off major troubles by hating Nunes.

The former Invicta FC featherweight champion has gone 3–2 during his UFC run but has a combination of power and skill that can present a problem for Nunes.

Petr Yan will defend the UFC bantamweight title against top contender Alzman Sterling in a third title fight on the card. Yan has so far tasted defeat inside the UFC Octagon and won the vacant title by stopping Jose Aldo in the fifth round in July. He will make his first defense against Sterling, who has long been recognized as one of the best young talent in the division. He eventually recorded five consecutive wins to win the title, and his 90-second set on Cory Sandhagen highlighted just how strong his grip could be.
