Paris Saint-Germain sports director Leonardo has reacted to the club’s links with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi, who is fast approaching the final few months of his current contract at Barcelona, has been asked to make time on his illustrious 16-year career at Camp Nou this summer and make his way to PSG.

Discussing the possibility of Messi joining the club later, the PSG chief replied: “We have nothing in relation to the future except the idea of increasing the players we already have.”
“There is nothing to contract or plan for anything. We are also obliged to measure what the financial results of this season will be.
“So, we’re attentive, but nothing to do with Messi.”
Leonardo fell short of confirming PSG’s alleged interest in Ronaldo, but admitted that the club is always open to the possibility of signing the best players in the game.
When asked to weigh in a possible swoop for Juventus superstars, he said: “What makes us happy is that PSG is almost always in all files. It’s cool. The transfer window is very fluid, there is movement. .
“PSG in general is very much desired. All great players are connected to PSG. This is something that should be valued.
“We are always in a position to talk with great players who would like to come. But we have no progress about a new player.”
