Virat Kohli posted a picture on social media and gave the caption, “This is the one you have to answer.” Kohli, who will next appear in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he leads the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), most recently led India with a 2–1 ODI series win over England. India won the five-match T20I series 3–2 and the four-match Test series 3–1 on England’s 2021 tour of India. In the IPL, RCB made their campaign debut with the season opener against defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai on 9 April.

Kohli will lead RCB to the playoffs last season and will aim to do better this time, as this time too his team has been strengthened with players other than Glenn Maxwell, Finn Allen, Mohammad Azharuddin and Dan Christian.
Kohli, who scored the all-time major score in the league, has 5878 runs in 192 matches with five centuries and 39 half-centuries.
He joined the RCB bio-bubble on Thursday and is expected to hit the training ground with the team soon.
Kohli’s RCB teammate AB de Villiers also joined the team’s bio-bubble on Thursday after coming to India from South Africa.
Promoted
One of RCB’s new recruits, Allen made his first big impression with the bat for New Zealand on Thursday in the third T20I against Bangladesh, where he scored his team’s 65-run victory by scoring 71 off just 29 balls.
Allen’s knock came with 10 fours and 3 sixes, when New Zealand scored 141 for 4 in a rain-affected 10-over side match and then dismissed Bangladesh for 76 runs.
