Enforcement officers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, detained two passengers in separate incidents on Monday while they were trying to smuggle gold of foreign origin.
In the first case, Shaik Mastan, an Indian citizen from Kuwait, was caught with 160 grams of yellow metal bars.
He arrived at RGIA from Jazeera Airlines flight number J9-1403 at dawn on Monday.

In another case, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence detainees detained an air passenger who hid 2.3 kg of gold in a living jacket.
During interrogation, the accused passenger arrived from Dubai. He was tried for smuggling in gold bullion.
