“The price of select models is increasing due to the increase in various input costs the company has to offer,” the auto chief said in a regulatory filing.
He stated that the weighted average price increase in ex-showroom prices (Delhi) during the model is 1.6%.
The new prices are effective from Friday, MSI said.
The company sells various models ranging from Alto to S-Cross, priced between ₹ 2.99 lakh and various 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
In March, the car market leader said that in the past year, the cost of the company’s vehicles has been adversely affected due to the increase in various input costs.
On 18 January this year, the automaker announced an increase in prices of select models by up to 34,000 due to an increase in input costs.
