TN Assembly Election | Stalin says BJP’s win will be harmful for Tamil Nadu

The DMK president said that the CM has promised the Center the rights of the state: “We are losing one right after another,”

Any victory for the BJP in the assembly elections will be harmful for Tamil Nadu. AIADMK’s victory also means BJP’s victory, DMK President MK Stalin said during his campaign in Madurai on Wednesday.

“Though there is no BJP legislator in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, it is the BJP that is ruling in the state. The only member of the NDA in the Lok Sabha, P.W. Rabindranath Kumar is acting like a BJP member.

Of Chief Minister Edappadi. Describing Palaniswami as ‘worthless’, Mr. Stalin said that the CM has given the powers of the state to the Center. “We’re losing one right after the other,” he said. First, the state’s rights over the Cauvery water issue and NEET were lost, then the state could not get the tax rate from the Center under GST or its tax share. AIIMS remains a non-starter, announced in 2016.

“The then Chief Minister M. The DMK under Karunanidhi constructed the new secretariat building. Similarly, DMK will bring AIIMS to Madurai when it comes to power, ”he said.

The AIADMK has failed to conduct the entire local body elections. After holding rural local body elections, urban local body elections were not held. “I promise that soon after assuming power, DMK will conduct elections for the Nagar Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations,” he said.

Even government employees were not happy with the AIADMK government. Mr. Stalin said that State Transport Corporation employees, lunch workers, sanitation workers and teachers were all fighting for their demands.

Following the rise in electricity rates, the rise in the price of milk, petrol and diesel, the price of essential commodities was rising, he compared the current prices of essential commodities during the DMK regime. He alleged that there is heavy competition between Modi government and AIADMK government to impose new taxes on the people, due to which the prices of essential commodities are rising.

With the aim of reclaiming the devastated Tamil Nadu in the last 10 years, DMK has launched seven schemes with a long-term vision that will be implemented in phases over 10 years, Mr. Stalin said of the Secular Progressive Alliance Seeking votes for candidates, PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan (Madurai Central), G. Thalapathi (Madurai North), c. Chinnamal (Madurai West) and M. Bomanathan of (Madurai South).
