Tinder down reports are surging in today, with users reporting issues sending messages on the popular dating app for iOS and Android. Independent outage monitor Down Detector has recorded a spike in Tinder down reports today. At the time of writing, Down Detector UK has registered a peak of more than 500 reports of Tinder down.
According to Down Detector stats, the majority of affected Tinder users are experiencing issues sending or receiving messages.
Down Detector is an independent outage monitor which tracks social mentions to detect the moment popular services such as Tinder go down.
Downdowndetector.com has also registered a big spike in Tinder down reports today, with a peak of over 1,100 reported issues.
As the reported Tinder service issues hit users took to Twitter to tweet about the problems they were facing.
One tweeted: “Tinder is down!!! Dont ask me how I know this”.
While another posted: “@Tinder is down”.
One added: “Lol thought I was banned from tinder again turns out it’s just down”.
And another wrote: “@Tinder I can’t message this really cute guy because your app is down, get it together!!”
The official Tinder, Tinder UK and Tinder Support Twitter accounts are yet to comment on the reported server issues today.
Express.co.uk has contacted Tinder for comment to ask if a fix is in the works.
