Police said a joint team of Shopian Police, Army’s 34 RR and CRPF opened fire during a search operation in Manihal village.
Three unidentified militants have been killed in the ongoing operation of security forces in Shopian of South Kashmir on Monday.
A police spokesman said, “Three militants have been killed in Manihal village of Imamsahib belt in Shopian, South Kashmir.”
Police said a joint team of Shopian Police, Army 34 RR and CRPF caught fire during a search operation in Manihal village. The operation was launched after a specific input regarding the presence of terrorists.
Police said, “The search operation is on.”
