Multi-device support is one of the most awaited features that is expected to be rolled out to instant messaging app WhatsApp.
A lot has been speculated about this upcoming WhatsApp feature but nothing is certain till now.
Now, it appears that users will not have to wait for too long as WABetaInfo — the online platform that tracks the changes and upcoming features of WhatsApp — has revealed that the Facebook-owned app is working on making it live for testing for beta users soon.
According to website, the early access to multi-device beta will be available very soon as it has spotted the screen where WhatsApp will ask its users to ‘join the multi-device beta’

According to WABetaInfo, those who want to test this feature will require the latest beta versions of WhatsApp for Android and iOS.

As per previously tipped information, the multi-device feature on WhatsApp will make it possible for the user to use their WhatsApp account on different devices, without an active internet connection.
Multi-device feature on WhatsApp: Confirmed
Last month, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart had confirmed that this feature is coming to the app soon.
Zuckerberg had said that such a feature is indeed in the works. He also said that it has been a “technical challenge” to develop it as it will require all of users’ messages and content to sync properly across devices. He also added that the chats in this case will also remain end-to-end encrypted.
WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart further confirmed that the company is going to roll out the multi-device support feature in a public beta “in the next month or two.”
Cathcart revealed that users will get the support to link up to 4 devices using the multi-device feature.
