The Trump administration had enforced strict trade restrictions and banned Chinese social media apps amid numerous controversial attempts to curb Chinese dominance. These measures badly affected American tech companies that relied heavily on China for their manufacturing capabilities.
More than 55% of technical staff surveyed said they feel that US sanctions on Chinese tech companies have “gone too far”. In addition, more than 60% of people also agreed that US tech companies should work closely with Chinese tech companies.
