    NEW DELHI:Consumer electronics giant Samsung takes Android updates quite seriously. The company makes sure to roll out timely software updates for its devices. Recently, the company rolled out Android 11 update for its mid-range smartphones and now it is updating its two-year-old Android tablet.
    Samsung has started rolling out Android 11 update for its Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) tablet which the company launched in 2019. The Android tablet came with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Last year, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) received the Android 10 update.
    The update comes with firmware version T515XXU8CUF2 and it also brings the new One UI to the tablet. It is an OTA update, but you can also manually check for it by going to the Settings> Software updates.
    With the Android 11 update, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) users will be able to experience features like chat bubbles, easier access to smart home controls, the ability to remove GPS location data from images, improved stock apps, more lock screen options, improved Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard and others.

    The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features a 10.1-inch full HD display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution. Running Android 9.0 Pie operating system, the device is powered by the company’s own Exynos 7904 processor. The tablet offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 400GB by adding a microSD card.
    The device sports an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary shooter for selfies. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) packs a 6150mAh battery and offers WiFi, Bluetooth and USB Type C as connectivity options.

    NEW DELHI: Realme‘s TechLife ecosystem brand Dizo recently launched its first audio products in India. The company has now further expanded its product lineup with the launch of two new feature phones. The company has silently launched the Dizo Star 300 and Dizo Star 500 feature phones in the country.
    Both the 2G phones are powered by Spreadtrum SC6531E processor and sport a QQVGA display. The feature phones also come with a rear camera and offer multiple language support which includes English, Tamil, Hindi, Gujarati and Telugu.
    The duo will be available online on Flipkart starting July 8th. The Dizo Star 300 comes in Black, Blue and Green colour options, while the Dizo Star 500 can be purchased in Black, Green and Silver colour variants.
    The Dizo Star 300 is priced at Rs 1,299, while the Dizo Star 500 costs Rs 1,799.
    At this price point the Dizo Star 300, will compete against Nokia 105 which is available at Rs 1,299.
    The dual SIM Nokia 1.5 also sports a QVGA screen and it runs Nokia series 30+ software platform. The feature phone also comes in multiple colour options.

    NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Xiaomi has finally announced the date of sale for its most expensive smartphone — Mi 11 Ultra. The company has announced that the smartphone will go on sale in the country on July 17, 2021. The customers will be able to purchase the Mi 11 Ultra from mi.com and Mi Home Stores.
    The company has already confirmed that it will be a limited quantity sale. This means that the smartphone is available in limited numbers and buyers will have to hurry up if they wish to purchase the smartphone. Last week, Xiaomi started taking registrations for the Mi 11 Ultra on its website. The company also mentioned that the customers will be able to purchase the smartphone via two methods.
    The customers can get the Mi 11 Ultra either by spending money or by participating in a challenge. The company has also mentioned that the SBI credit cardholders can avail an instant discount of Rs 5,000 on the purchase of Mi 11 Ultra.
    The smartphone maker launched its premium smartphone in April this year in the country along with the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. However, despite the launch, the smartphone didn’t go on sale due to the lockdown situation in the country.
    To recall, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes with a price tag of Rs 69,999. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The high-end Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 6.81-inch WQHD+ main display with 1440×3200 pixel resolution. The smartphone also houses a 1.1-inch secondary display placed on the rear panel. The main display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and the display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.

    NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker OnePlus recently launched its new OnePlus 9 series of smartphones. The OnePlus 9 series include three smartphones — OnePlus Pro, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9R.
    All the three smartphones include a camera setup which the company developed in association with Hasselblad. OnePlus has signed a three-year partnership with the camera pioneer, which means that the future OnePlus smartphones will also include a Hasselblad camera.
    Now, a new online rumour reveal that OnePlus is all set to further expand its OnePlus 9 series of smartphones. The rumour reveals that OnePlus is working on the new OnePlus 9T smartphone. The smartphone is expected to launch in Q3 2021. The OnePlus 9T is said to sport a quad-rear camera setup co-developed by Hasselblad.
    The rumour also mentions that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will run ColorOS 11 Global, based Android 11. OnePlus has already confirmed that it is integrating the OxygenOS and Oppo’s ColorOS which will improve the software experience for users. OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 8 series and later will get 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
    OxygenOS and ColorsOS codebases merge is said to have little impact on how the UI functions. “This is a change that you will likely not even notice since it’s happening behind the scenes. We now have a larger and even more capable team of developers, more advanced R&D resources, and a more streamlined development process all coming together to improve the OxygenOS experience,” claimed OnePlus.
    Apart from this, no other information about the upcoming smartphone is available right now.
    It is expected that the OnePlus 9T might come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor and a bigger battery.

    NEW DELHI: According to the latest IDC report, Noise shipped the most number of smartwatches in Q1 2021 in India and it captured 26.7% of the total market share. The company is now planning to grab more market share and is all set to launch a new and affordable smartwatch in the country.
    Noise is all set to launch its ColorFit Ultra smartwatch in India. The upcoming smartwatch is teased on Amazon India website. As per the Amazon listing, the smartwatch will come with a square shaped dial same as the Apple Watch.
    The listing also confirms that the Noise ColorFit Ultra smartwatch will sport a 1.75-inch HD touchscreen display. The display of the smartwatch is 78% bigger as compared to the ColorFit Pro 2 smartwatch offered by the company. The wearable will come with an aluminium alloy body and will house a physical button placed on the right side.
    Apart from this, no other information about the upcoming smartwatch is available right now. The company has also not yet revealed the official launch date but it is expected to launch soon in the country.
    Recently, Noise launched its ColorFit Pro 3 smartwatch in India. The smartwatch comes in a price tag of Rs 4,499 and it can be purchased in Jet Black, Jet Blue, Rose Pink, Rose Red, Smoke Green and Smoke Grey colour options.
    The smartwatch comes with a heart rate and SpO2 monitor and sports a 1.55-inch (320 x 360 pixels) LCD screen. The water-resistant smartwatch offers 14 different sports modes and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
    Noise ColorFit Pro 3 offers customisable and cloud-based watch faces and also comes with sleep tracking and female health tracking features. The wearable houses 210 mAh battery which promises to offer 10 days of battery backup on a single charge.

    NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme started rolling out the Android 11 update for the Qualcomm Edition Realme C15 smartphone. Launched last year in October, the company has started rolling out the Android 11 update in India. Along with the Android 11 update, the smartphone also received Realme UI 2.0 update.
    The update comes with firmware version RMX2195PU_11.A.05 and it is being rolled out in a phased manner. The update will be initially rolled out to a limited number of users and a broader roll out will commence in coming days.
    With Android 11 update, the Realme C15 users will experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
    Realme also recommends the users of Realme C15 to fully charge the smartphone before downloading the update.
