    San Francisco, November 11: Hackers have stolen $114 million from cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex, after its “hot wallets” were drained by cyber-criminals. Poloniex investor Justin Sun posted on X that the company was investigating the hack incident. “Poloniex maintains a healthy financial position and will fully reimburse the affected funds. Additionally, we are exploring opportunities for collaboration with other exchanges to facilitate the recovery of these funds,” Sun posted.

    Various wallets across multiple blockchains appear to have been targeted, reports CoinDesk.     A wallet on the Tron blockchain also sent around $42 million to various wallets. Poloniex is one of the longest-running crypto exchanges. It was acquired by Circle in 2018 and later spun off to several investors, including Sun.

    The crypto exchange has facilitated $616 million worth of trading volume over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.     Blockchain analytics company Nansen reported that there were just 175 tokens left in Poloniex’s wallet, worth a total of $10,000. Sun added that the crypto exchange is offering a 5 per cent white hat bounty to the hacker with a deadline of seven days before engaging with law enforcement.

    The company “successfully identified and froze a portion of the assets associated with the hacker’s addresses. At present, the losses are within manageable limits, and Poloniex’s operating revenue can cover these losses,” Sun posted.

    TMC’s favorite symbol has been ‘Chakra’ [which it first got in 1996]. We are trying hard to get this symbol from the Election Commission of India and the court, but did not succeed. We had to fight till the last minute to get the symbol.

Unfortunately, this responsibility is not for the DMK, and therefore, it opposes the ruling government and makes such allegations.

    What is your primary charge against DMK?

    They have not been in power for 10 years. Even before that, he never got enough numbers.

    I do not want to accuse them personally. Let people do justice because I am not an AIADMK member, but only a coalition partner.

    How do you see the administration of the state government after the death of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa?

    After his death, under the leadership of Mr. Palaniswami, the state government did a very good job in the last four years, especially in dealing with the epidemic, resulting in economic crisis and cyclone rehabilitation.

    How do you see the overall scenario in the state?

    After 10 years of the AIADMK government, I am seeing a lot of enthusiasm in the people to greet the coalition parties.

    The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday announced 33% reservation for women in government jobs under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and allocation of Rs.75,000 to 75 lakh farmers under the West Bengal Assembly Elections in its manifesto on Sunday Promised.

    Releasing the party’s manifesto titled “Sonar Bangla Sonkolpo Potro 2021”, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the manifesto is “a vision to realize the party’s slogan of Sonar Bangla (Golden Bengal)”.

    With 33% reservation for women in government jobs, the BJP has given free education to girls from kindergarten to post-graduation, free rides for women in public transport and for school going girls in Class VI, IX, XI and XII Promised to provide free education. The declaration promised only nine women battalions and three battalions under the State Reserve Police Force. The Trinamool Congress has a conditional cash transfer scheme for school going girls called Kanyashree Yojana, which has received international acclaim.

    “The refugees who came to the state 70 years ago are still waiting for their rights. We will implement the CAA in the first cabinet of the BJP government. Under the CM Refugee Welfare Scheme, 10,000 10,000 will be given to each of the refugee families for the next five years, ”said Shah.     The BJP also promises 6,000 per year for fishermen. The manifesto also promises Annapurna canteens across the state where subsidized food is promised 5 times a day. A similar announcement of “Maa Canteen” was made in the manifesto of the Trinamool Congress to provide cooked food at 55.

    In a 62-page document, the BJP promised to set up a “Sonar Bangla Economic Revival Task Force” for industrialization and the inception of the Institute Tagore Award and the Satyajit Ray Award, which recognized excellence. Mr. Shah promised anti-corruption help under the Chief Minister’s Office. It also promised to constitute a task force to deal with extinction and to investigate irregularities in relief distribution for cyclones like Amphon and Bulbul.

    The Trinamool Congress raised the issue that the manifesto was issued in Hindi and not in Bengali. “For the first time, a non-Bengali released a manifesto for Bengal as @ BJP4Bengal did not have a single son of clay to do so.
