Large language model (LLM) is a rapidly growing field, and the demand for skilled professionals with expertise in deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and related technologies is on the rise.

    As more companies adopt chatbots and other LLM AI technologies to improve customer service and operational efficiency, the need for talented individuals to develop, maintain, and operate these systems is also increasing, according to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.     Citigroup’s “Generative AI Full Stack Engineering Lead – Codified Controls” role looks at driving and contributing to the technical direction of products and services, instilling engineering best practices into the team, and promoting cultural change across the organisation.     A Tinder swindler or Tinder scammer, which is a term being used for conmen using the dating application Tinder to exploit and manipulate innocent people, has been accused of having “no moral compass whatsoever”. Peter Taylor (41), who called himself ‘David’ on the dating app, has been accused of posting explicit videos sent to him privately on the pornographic website Pornhub. The videos were of a victim with whom he first interacted in 2020. Taylor, a married father of one child, was identified and police found the images of his victim on his computer. She found out months later that the videos had been uploaded on Pornhub and even after she contacted the website to take those videos down, Taylor sent her a message saying, “You think they won’t go back up again.” In a statement read to the court, the woman claimed that her “life was over for a while” and that “Christmas 2020 was ruined by Covid-19 and David.” The victim added that “I hope by coming forward we will stop him from doing this to anyone else.”

    The accused had no previous convictions and he pled guilty to disclosing a private photograph with intent to cause distress at the magistrates’ court. He was sentenced to six months imprisonment on Thursday, where the judge said, “Your behaviour towards this entirely blameless individual was despicable. It was her great misfortune to cross your path. That was all a ploy, presumably some sort of joke at her expense.” The judge added that the username Taylor used on Pornhub “‘reeks of misogynistic and hypocritical attitudes”.

    In his complaint, the parent contended that it was “obscene, vulgar and improper for an 18-year-old student to see his professor dressed in scanty clothes exhibiting her body on a public platform”.

    Summoned for explanation by the university authorities, the teacher said that under no circumstance any of her students could access those pictures which she posted on Instagram two months before she joined the university, as by then the pictures would have gone automatically to the trash section.

    She argued that her Instagram profile was private and hence the pictures there cannot be viewed by anyone other than her followers. She also expressed apprehension that her Instagram profile might have been hacked.

    However, the university authorities refused to accept her logic and she was given the option to resign or get terminated. After she resigned, she filed an FIR with the Kolkata Police claiming that her Instagram account might have been hacked.

    Meanwhile, she had also sent a letter to the university authorities through her lawyer asking for a copy of the complaint filed by the parent of the student.

    In reply, the authorities slapped her with a counter legal notice claiming that her earlier legal notice was an ‘ill-motivated’, ‘desperate’ and ‘dishonest’ attempt to open a closed chapter, thus causing immense and irreparable damage to the image of the institute.

    In that counter legal notice, the university authorities also sought a damage compensation of Rs 99 crore.

    Meanwhile, netizens in the city are divided over the development. While some have resorted to bashing the assistant professor on moral grounds, others have said that whatever one does beyond his or her professional arena is not the business of his or her employer.

    San Francisco, July 9: Amid the high voltage drama happening ever since Elon Musk officially tried to pull out of his $44 billion agreement to buy Twitter, the microblogging site’s general counsel has told employees to not publicly comment on the deal.

    In an internal memo to Twitter employees sent on Friday and obtained by The Verge, the company’s general counsel, Sean Edgett, told employees to “refrain from Tweeting, Slacking, or sharing any commentary about the merger”, and that management would be “very limited on what we can share”. Elon Musk To Pay USD 1 Billion As Deal Termination Fee to Twitter.

    “I know this is an uncertain time, and we appreciate your patience and ongoing commitment to the important work we have underway,” Edgett wrote. As per the website, the notice cites the fact that the merger is an ongoing legal matter.

    “The Twitter Board is committed to closing the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are confident we will prevail in the Delaware Court of Chancery,” Edgett said.

    In a surprising move, Musk’s legal team said in a US Securities and Exchange (SEC) filing that he is terminating the deal because Twitter was in “material breach” of their agreement and had made “false and misleading” statements during negotiations.

    Meanwhile, Twitter, in response, said that it was going to sue Musk for terminating the $44 billion takeover deal. In the following tweet, Twitter Chairman Bret Taylor said that the “board is committed to closing the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement”.

    “We are confident we will prevail in the Delaware Court of Chancery,” he added. Musk had put the deal on hold over the actual number of spammy/ fake accounts and bots on the platform, and sought a reply from Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. On Thursday, Twitter claimed it is suspending more than 1 million spam accounts a day.
