Pikachu vs Eevee Relay Race! Video of the Pokemon Mascots Running Cutely for the Competition Goes Viral

A very exciting relay race video has gone viral recently, featuring Pikachu and Eevee! It can be argued that the race was a little unfair between Pikachu, an electric-type Pokemon, and Eevee, a normal type, making Pikachu obviously much faster. Still, this race proved to be quite an entertainer. The Eevee mascot team took the lead initially, but finally, the excited Pikachu, in the end, raced to the finishing line to win the race. The reactions recorded of the two mascots were also priceless, with Pikachu performing what seemed to be a little victory dance and Eevee seeming clearly disappointed after losing the race. Take a look at this video, which has managed to entertain everyone watching it, with some even replaying it multiple times just for fun. Pet Fish Playing Pokemon Commits Credit Card Fraud! • Someone paid over Rs 11 crore for a Nintendo Super Mario game from 1996 – morningtidings

Someone paid over Rs 11 crore for a Nintendo Super Mario game from 1996 – morningtidings

A perfectly sealed copy of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 console that was launched in 1996 went under the hammer recently and fetched $1,560,000 at Heritage Auctions in Texas, US. The prize money translates to over Rs 11.6 crore and is perhaps the first game to sell for over $1.5 million. Recently, The Legend of Zelda claimed an auction price of $870,000 while a copy of Super Mario Bros sold for $156,000.
The Super Mario 64 was the best selling game for the Nintendo 64 console and worldwide nearly 33 million units of the console were sold.
Video game auctions have quite a big thing recently with people ready to pay millions on classic games like Super Mario. Heritage Auctions described it as the ‘highest graded copy of Super Mario 64–Wata 9.8 A++ Sealed, N64 Nintendo 1996 USA.
The website of Heritage Auctions said, “Well — we’re a bit speechless on this one. What can we even say that would do this copy the justice it deserves? The cultural significance of this title and its importance to the history of video games is paramount, and the condition of this copy is just so breathtaking that we’re really at a loss here. If you have had your heart set on obtaining the highest graded copy of the single best-selling video game on the Nintendo 64 — the first 3D adventure of Nintendo’s mascot, Mario — we only have one piece of advice: this is not an opportunity to waste.”
Apart from classic video games, vintage Pokémon cards are also in demand. Back in 2019, a pack of Pokémon trading cards fetched $1,07,000 (around Rs 76.25 lakh) at an auction. The winner had to outbid 12 contenders. These Pokemon cards happen to be from 1999 when the first set of Pokemon cards were printed in English. The pack had 103 cards in perfect condition with the first edition Charizard.

  • 16-year old earns .7 million by reselling PS5, Xbox Series X and Pokemon Card: Report – morningtidings

16-year old earns $1.7 million by reselling PS5, Xbox Series X and Pokemon Card: Report – morningtidings

Microsoft and Sony may have brought their next-gen consoles well within the reach of the hardcore gamers but the units are playing hard to get it seems, with the high demand. Similar is the case of the Pokemon trading cards. In such times, Max Hayden, a 16-year old has made a revenue of $1.7million simply by reselling the aforementioned hard-to-get items, the consoles being the PS5 and the Xbox Series X, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
As per the report, the actual profit the youngster made is about $110,000 (still a lot), with the $1.7million being the total amount of sales managed in 18 months. The reason for this profit? Hayden reportedly sold the units at almost double the price of the consoles, which is about $1,100 per gaming console when it costs around $500. Buyers are desperate to get their hands on the next-generation consoles. It seems some can’t wait as it is a long term investment. Hayden, by the way, has been selling other hard-to-get stuff like sneakers too, as per the report.
Multiple factors are causing the supply shortage of the gaming consoles like third party sellers, the global chip shortage and the bots that befuddle the online system to make heavy purchases. And it is not looking any better, at least for this year. So, if you are waiting for the consoles to come in stock, it’s best you don’t have high hopes for them reaching the stores anytime soon. Enjoy your PS4s and Xbox One consoles for the time being.
