    Two PDP leaders resign from the party

    Mr Alam, a former trade union leader who joined the PDP after retiring from government service, said he resigned from the party because it “lacked any vision”.

    He said that he had reasons to be happy throughout his public life and many reasons where he felt disappointed.

    Mr. Begh expressed his desire to groom the youth and contribute to their capacity building.

    He was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but was sidelined over the years, especially when the party joined hands with the BJP to form the government in the wake of the 2014 assembly elections.

    NC leader Bukhari resigns to the party

    In a letter to party president Farooq Abdullah, Mr. Bukhari said that he has been quitting the party since March 12.
