    Google TV-Powered Smart LED Television Lineup ‘Xplore Smart LED TV’ Launched in India by Consumer Brand ‘Elista’

    New Delhi, November 23: Elista, a brand under TeknoDome, on Thursday launched its first Google TV-powered Smart LED TV line-up in India. The new ‘Xplore Smart LED TV’ series comes in 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch screen sizes, at a starting price of Rs 16,999, and is available at all leading consumer electronics stores, the company said.

    The new line-up runs on the Google TV operating system (OS) and features HDR10 and Dolby Audio support for the best entertainment experience in its class. “The new range offers seven high-performance smart televisions powered by the revolutionary Google TV operating system with support for Google voice commands for the most intuitive smart TV viewing experience,” Pawan Kumar, CEO, of Elista, said in a statement. iPhone 16 Series by Apple May Not Offer Touch ID Fingerprint Authentication Tech: Report.

    The new series offers personalised recommendations by Google based on the user’s viewing behaviour and preferences.     Google TV-powered televisions also feature a separate kid’s mode, helping guide kids to age-appropriate content. The new Smart LED TVs feature 3x HDMI, 1x RF, 2x USB, and 1x AV In to ensure seamless connectivity with external accessories such as gaming consoles, music systems, soundbars, etc.

    San Francisco, January 3 : Apple is reportedly planning to bring Micro LED technology to its Watch Ultra with a larger display next year.     The analyst claimed that the 2024 Watch Ultra might adopt a Micro LED panel instead of an OLED. Micro LED is an alternative to OLED which has higher colour accuracy and brightness levels.

  • Videotex To Invest Over Rs 100 Crore To Set Up New LED TV Facility in Greater Noida

    New Delhi: Consumer electronics contract manufacturer Videotex International on Tuesday announced to invest over Rs 100 crore and set up a new LED TV manufacturing facility in Greater Noida that will create more jobs. With this investment, the company said it will also upgrade its existing capacity to 14 lakh TVs and new capacity to 18 lakh TVs – taking the combined production capacity to 32 lakh TVs in a year. Redmi Smart TV 32-Inch & 43-Inch Models Launched in India From Rs 15,999.

    “The electronic contract manufacturing in India is projected to grow by over six-fold by 2025. The increased duty on imports of finished products has given a strong boost to local manufacturing and assembly in India,” said Arjun Bajaaj, Director, Videotex International.

    Videotex has been one of the oldest and largest contract manufacturers (ODM/OEM), and “has strong interest in leveraging the new opportunity, with superior technology and infrastructure in manufacturing that maintains competitive standing in global markets,” he added.  “With the set-up of our new manufacturing unit, we strengthen our foothold and advance the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative,” said Bajaaj.

    Between the two units, Videotex will add fresh jobs, as per the new volumes defined. This includes employees in the manufacturing units, back office and more along with providing new job opportunities for the vendors associated with the company.

    The new 1,20,000 square feet smart manufacturing facility will install advanced manufacturing solutions and machineries, applying AI/ML technologies. The company has been manufacturing TVs for leading brands like realme, Hisense, Toshiba, Lloyd, Hyundai and over 15 leading brands of India.

    Videotex International is also the first Indian firm to be licenced as a manufacturer of webOS TVs, and it has on boarded 14 brands to manufacture webOS TVs in the country. Soon, the company will announce product expansion into the appliances and electronics categories.

  • Cricket NFT Platform Rario Raises $120 Million Led by Dream Capital

    Mumbai, April 21: World’s first cricket non-fungible token (NFT) platform Rario on Thursday said it has raised $120 million led by Dream Capital, the VC and M&A arm of Dream Sports.

    Singapore-based Rario currently has the largest share of cricket NFT rights globally through exclusive partnerships with six international cricket leagues and more than 900 cricketers. Walmart Plans to Enter the Metaverse By Launching its Own Cryptocurrency and NFT Collection.

    The platform said that with the new investment, it will get access to Dream Sports’ 140 million users, who will be offered fiat-only products in India, with the potential to create the largest cricket NFT platform globally.

    Alpha Wave Global (previously Falcon Edge Capital) also participated in the Series A round.

    Founded in 2021 by IIT Delhi alumni Wadhwa and Sunny Bhanot, Rario recently signed one of the world’s largest cricket NFT deals, a multi-year exclusive partnership with Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers’ Association to create an Australian cricket metaverse of collectibles and gaming.

    Through Rario, Indian sports fans can buy, sell and trade NFTs through credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers.

    Since 2021, Rario has sold over 50,000 NFTs to sports fans across 20 countries, and the key markets are the US, the UK, Australia and India.

    “Web 3.0 use cases in sports are transformational, and we are looking to back more startups in the space globally with innovative utilities of NFTs,” said Dev Bajaj, Chief Strategy Officer, Dream Sports.

    With Rario, Dream Capitals portfolio has grown to nine companies.

In addition, it may also feature off-white bezels and a matching off-white keyboard rather than black. The 2022 MacBook Air will feature USB C ports, a 30W power adapter, full-sized function keys, multiple external display support, and a MagSafe charging connector.
