Battlegrounds Mobile India: Krafton Reportedly Lays Out Rules To Avoid Getting Banned Permanently

Battlegrounds Mobile India, the PUBG’s Indian version is currently in the beta testing phase and expected to be launched in the country soon. Krafton has been trying to relaunch the game since the ban of PUBG by the Indian government last year. Last week, an early access version of the game was made available to several users who had pre-registered the game. Now the company has reportedly rolled out several rules and regulations of the game. Battlegrounds Mobile India: CAIT Reportedly Requests IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad To Ban PUBG’s Indian Version.

It is important to note that if the players do not follow these rules then Krafton could ban them permanently. Here are several rules reportedly listed by Krafton:

    1. Players should not use any unauthorized payment channels to recharge UC.

    2. Users should avoid teaming up with players from the other team in the game to offer a partial advantage to either side.

    3. Players can not set up a team game in which they get to cheat in any condition.

    4. In-game items and UC should be purchased by a player via the authorised services. Any purchase done by unauthorised services will be counted as a violation of rules thus getting the account banned.

    6. No user can use any cheating tools in the game to obtain supremacy over others.

  • Google I/O 2021: CEO Sundar Pichai Lays Down Roadmap for Future of Work for Millions Across the Globe

Google I/O 2021: CEO Sundar Pichai Lays Down Roadmap for Future of Work for Millions Across the Globe

San Francisco: Reiterating that his home country India as well as Brazil are going through their most difficult moments of the pandemic, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai has laid down a detailed roadmap on how the future of work will unfold for millions across the globe. Kicking off the I/O Developers Conference from the Mountain View campus late on Tuesday, Pichai said that Covid-19 has deeply affected the entire global community over the past year and continues to take a toll. Google I/O 2021: Android 12 OS With ‘Material You’ Design Revealed; Beta 1 Version Available For Pixel, OnePlus & Other Select Devices.

“Places such as Brazil, and my home country of India, are now going through their most difficult moments of the pandemic yet. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by COVID and we are all hoping for better days ahead,” he stressed. “One of the biggest ways we can help is by reimagining the future of work. Over the last year, we’ve seen work transform in unprecedented ways, as offices and coworkers have been replaced by kitchen countertops and pets,” he noted.

“Many companies, including ours, will continue to offer flexibility even when it’s safe to be in the same office again. Collaboration tools have never been more critical, and today we announced a new smart canvas experience in Google Workspace that enables even richer collaboration,” Pichai told the virtual audience of over 2,00,000 people.

Pichai said that the company continues to build a more helpful Google, for everyone. He informed that there are 150 million students and educators learning virtually over the last year with Google Classroom.

“Other times it’s about helping in little moments that add up to big changes for everyone. For example, we’re introducing safer routing in Maps. This AI-powered capability in Maps can identify road, weather and traffic conditions where you are likely to brake suddenly; our aim is to reduce up to 100 million events like this every year,” he said.

“Yet, there are still moments when computers just don’t understand us. That’s because language is endlessly complex: We use it to tell stories, crack jokes and share ideas — weaving in concepts we’ve learned over the course of our lives. The richness and flexibility of language make it one of humanity’s greatest tools and one of computer science’s greatest challenges,” Pichai elaborated.

Stressing on the role of AI, Pichai said the company has used the technology to improve the core Search experience for billions of people by taking a huge leap forward in a computer’s ability to process natural language. He then introduced latest research in natural language understanding: LaMDA. LaMDA is a language model for dialogue applications. It’s open domain, which means it is designed to converse on any topic.

“We’re focused on ensuring LaMDA meets our incredibly high standards on fairness, accuracy, safety and privacy, and that it is developed consistently with our AI Principles,” he added. “The resulting data is many gigabits per second, so to send an image this size over existing networks, we developed novel compression and streaming algorithms that reduce the data by a factor of more than 100,” said Pichai.

Several years ago, Google kicked off a project called Project Starline to use technology to explore what’s possible. Using high-resolution cameras and custom-built depth sensors, it captures your shape and appearance from multiple perspectives, and then fuses them together to create an extremely detailed, real-time 3D model.

Film federation lays new guidelines for shooting amid rise in COVID-19 cases

The film and TV industry has been badly hit due to the rising COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra, and particularly Mumbai

The film and TV industry has been badly hit due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the state and particularly the capital city.

Several on-ground productions like “Ram Setu”, “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and Dharma Productions-backed “Mr Lele” halted shoots after their leading actors, including Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar tested positive for coronavirus.

Apart from the actors, as many as 45 members of Kumar’s “Ram Setu” have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus, reportedly.

According to a statement from the FWICE on Friday, the office-bearers had a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and assured him that the industry will be “responsible” in following the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure).

“FWICE in coordination with experts has laid down guidelines which all people involved in pre-production, shooting and post-production work will have to adhere to. These guidelines as of now will be applicable till April 30,” the statement read.

According to the new guidelines, shooting of crowd sequences and songs with dancers in large numbers will not be allowed.

“Wearing of masks and continuous sanitization are compulsory on the sets, in production offices, and in post-production studios.

“An FWICE monitoring team has been constituted to visit sets and post-production studios regularly to check that all guidelines are being followed. Any individual or production unit flouting the rules or creating any kind of hindrance in the adherence of the guidelines will face disciplinary action,” the statement read.

The Maharashtra government on Sunday announced a weekend lockdown in the state from 8 pm on Friday to 7 am on Monday in a bid to curb the growing numbers of COVID-19 cases.

“Shooting, setting, pre-production activities should be avoided during this period (of weekend lockdown). It is permissible to shoot from Monday to Friday. All members are hereby advised to schedule their shootings as per the above permissible days,” the statement added.

The statement was signed by B N Tiwari, FWICE President, Ashok Dubey, General Secretary, Gangeshwar Srivastav, Treasurer and chief advisors Sharad Shelar and filmmaker Ashok Pandit.

Maharashtra reported 56,286 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, taking its caseload to 32,29,547. Mumbai, meanwhile, saw a single-day spike of 8,938 cases.

  • CM lays down rules regarding lockout, night curfew

CM lays down rules regarding lockout, night curfew

Clearly rejecting the lockdown or night curfew in the state, Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said on Wednesday that this does not mean people can leave without wearing masks and following other COVID protocols.

“The situation is now in the hands of the people”. I have directed the Home Department to strictly enforce the COVID rules. If people do not cooperate, we will be forced to consider tough steps.

He said that he had conveyed to the Prime Minister the measures taken by the state government to deal with the epidemic.

“The Prime Minister has advised Karnataka to focus on areas where incidents are high. A special strategy will be worked out for the three districts – Bengaluru, Bidar and Kalabura ji – where the case load is high. ”

Pointing to the rise in the cases of COVID-19 in the last 15 days, the Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has advised the states to take tough measures so that the situation is not out of control. “The Prime Minister said that we should speed up the testing, tracking and treatment of the strategy. Vaccination does not ensure total protection against infection; Therefore, adequate precautions should be taken in view of COVID-appropriate behavior. ”

The Prime Minister has advised the states to make optimum use of vaccine manufacturing facilities. The vaccination campaign will be intensified and vaccine vaccines will be kept to a minimum as far as possible. “The Prime Minister assured us that vaccine production is a continuous process and adequate supply is available. But he has advised states to use the vaccine before the expiry date and avoid wastage. ‘

“I have assured the Prime Minister that all efforts will be made in Karnataka to control the spike and ensure normalcy. So far, Karnataka has reported around 9.61 lakh COVID-19 cases and more than 12,000 deaths, ”the Chief Minister said.

The state has seen its peak during the period August to October 2020. Cases began to decline from November but the decline accelerated from December 2020. However, in the last 0 days, there is an upward trend in COVID-19 cases. The positivity rate has increased to 1.65% on 15 March.

“We have held a review with experts and officials on 15 March and decided to intensify the information, education and communication campaign to create public awareness to follow appropriate behavior.”

    State measures

Enforcement of wearing masks and to avoid crowds in public places.

Identifying more beds, ICUs etc. for COVID-19 patients.

To set up three COVID care centers in Bengaluru to take care of the immediate growth.

Vaccination campaign will be intensified in about 3,500 centers across the state.

The target of vaccination should be increased to three lakh in a day from the current one lakh.

While the central government policy only allows vaccinations at the health facility, the state has sought permission to carry out vaccination campaigns in old age homes, apartment complexes and inaccessible areas.
