    Cyber Attack at Taj Hotel: Data of Tata-Owned Hotel Breached by ‘Dnacookies’, Around 1.5 Million Customers at Risk

    New Delhi, November 23: Around 1.5 million people may have had their personal information compromised in a recent data breach at Taj Hotels, owned by Tata, as per reports.

    “The perpetrator, known as ‘Dnacookies’, is requesting $5,000 for the complete dataset, encompassing addresses, membership IDs, mobile numbers, and other personally identifiable information (PII),” the reports further stated. “We have been made aware of someone claiming possession of a limited customer data set which is of non-sensitive nature. Safety and security of our customers’ data is of paramount importance to us,” said the spokesperson of Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), which runs the Taj Group. Cyber Attack on US Government Agencies: Federal Institutions in America Reportedly Hit by Cyberattack, CISA Assessing Impact.

    “We are investigating this claim and have notified the relevant authorities. We continue to monitor our systems and there is no suggestion of any current or ongoing security issue or impact on business operations,” said the spokesperson. However, Delhi Police is yet to confirm if they have received any complaint from the Taj Group.

    Ghaziabad, February 27: The marriage function became a menace at Ghaziabad’s Grand Iris Hotel. While the groom and his family were celebrating the pre-wedding function, mehendi, they were brutally thrashed by the hotel staff.

    According to media reports, the owner of the hotel, who is also a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, allegedly instructed his staff and bouncers to use manpower to stop the music after 2 am on Saturday night. The owner’s son has been recorded thrashing the guests in one of the videos making rounds on the Internet.

    The groom, who works as a lawyer, and his brother were badly injured. They were taken to the hospital and were admitted to the ICU for treatment. A 13-year-old boy got injured, too, while trying to save his father from the hotel staff.

    DCP (rural) Ravi Kumar told Times of India that an FIR had been registered against the hotel owner and his staff members under IPC sections 354 (molestation), 354A (sexual harassment), 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 379 (theft).

    While the police officers are saying they reached the crime incident on time, the family alleges that they came late due to which all this happened. The police, on the contrary, have rejected these allegations. “We reached the hotel soon after getting a call around 2 am on Sunday. We rescued them and took the injured to a nearby hospital for medical attention,” he said.

She’s beaten up even the female staff. Will Jaipur police arrest her.” She has tagged Jaipur Police in her tweet. The viral clip has blurred the aggressor in the incident as the woman is fully naked. However, you can see her movement and aggressive behaviour as she is seen thrashing staff in the hotel lobby. Apart from throwing violent punches at a male staff, the naked foreign woman is also caught on camera pulling a female hotel employee’s hair and attacking her viciously.

The ship has a 104-metre outdoor walkway, and is equipped to offer entertainment options for all ages, including three new concerts, five new theatre performances, four unique experiences in the “Panorama Lounge”, and live performances travelling to various areas on board the ship. The floating hotel has the largest children’s area of all ships of the MSC fleet, with an internal spread of more than 766 square metres, and seven rooms, each suitable for different age groups, from new-borns to 17-year-olds.

    The ship offers seven swimming pools, 13 whirlpools, and a luxurious yacht club, which includes public spaces, outdoor areas and new suites. It will spend its first year in the waters of the Gulf, before leaving the region for the Mediterranean in the summer of 2023. MSC World Europa is the first ship in the MSC fleet cruise liners to be powered by liquefied natural gas, one of the cleanest fuels in the world, QNA said. The cruise liner also includes a system to reduce the impact of underwater noise to a minimum, and reduce the potential impact on marine mammals in the surrounding waters.
