The Airtel 5G services are currently operational at DLF Cyber Hub, DLF Phase 2, MG Road, Rajiv Chowk, Iffco Chowk, Atlas Chowk, Udyog Vihar, Nirvana Country, Gurugram railway station, Civil lines, Ardee city, Huda city center, Gurugram National Highway and few other select locations.

    New Delhi, August 6: Aiming to improve communication and high-speed data network to support operational requirements of field formations, the Indian Army is looking to establish 5G network along borders.     Addressing a media briefing after the end of the bidding for the 5G spectrum, Union Minister of Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said out of the total 72,098 MHz of spectrum on offer, 51,236 MHz or around 71 per cent has been sold in the auction.

    Talking to ANI, Vaishnaw said the allocation of the spectrum to the successful bidders would be done by August 10 and the 5G services are likely to be launched in the country by October this year. Vaishnaw said that better availability of spectrum will improve the quality of telecom services in the country.

    Balasore, December 23: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted the flight test of indigenously developed High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) Abhyas on Thursday from Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur off the coast, Odisha.

    During the flight trial, a High subsonic speed trajectory at a very low altitude with high endurance was demonstrated. Two boosters provided initial acceleration during launch and a small turbojet engine is used to sustain high subsonic speed with long endurance.

    The indigenous data link designed by Bengaluru based Industry partner has been successfully flown and tested during the flight.     China aims to increase the total length of its high-speed train network to about 50,000 km by 2025.

    A senior official has said that China will operate bullet trains in Tibet close to the Indian border in Arunachal Pradesh before July this year and signal the opening of high-speed train services in all Chinese mainland provincial level areas.
